Reviews of Milford Market Basket grocery store from around the web:

“When I lived in NH we used to do all our shopping here, Market Basket has the cheapest prices out of any other grocery store in NH and good quality food. I also used to work here and they’re really good to employees, I would know because I used to be one! Wish we had stores like MB here in Ohio, all we got is Kroger and it isn’t a Market Basket by any means in terms of quality.”

“Better prices and it has most of the items I want to buy. Not a high end item store, but for food staples its tough to beat. A great bakery department. Treat yourself to a slice of chocolate cake.”

“Used to shop at Shaws til they decimated their organic section and stopped carrying organic meats. Market Basket immediately began expanding their organic offerings. In 2011 they began selling organic products under the store brand. Bravo! Their prices are always the lowest, and some of their prices even beat Costco! Leave a request at the CS Desk and they’ll try to carry whatever you want. Now keep in mind this store was built in the 70’s and still retains that look and feel, but you have to give up something for great prices. It ain’t pretty inside, but they are really nice and try really hard to cater to their customers. If you see Jimmy gathering the carts in the parking lot be sure to yell “Hi!” (really great guy)”

“The best decision I ever made! Great Quality and prices.
I change my opinion about Market Basket only because Stop and Shop has gotten to the point where the rewards and incentives are better through them. Every $1 spent is 1 point and 100 points equals a $10 gift card along with a coupon for $.45 off each gallon at their own Gas Stations. Plus when you scan your card it takes off an extra $.05 a gallon. The prices basically average out. Some things are cheaper at MB and some are cheaper there. So now Market Basket has some serious competition. They need to do some sort of incentive or reward process too.”

“Out of stock: I’ve been waiting over a month or two for them to restock on Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Homemade Wonderful Bread. All they do is move the other products around so there’s no space. I end up having to order directly through the mail from the company. I’m looking around now for a store that will be dependable. They’ve put signs up saying Gluten Free products but they haven’t much to offer.”
